MEETING REPORT ON: http://boroughgreen-news.com.istemp.com/contact_12.html

======================

QUESTIONS ?????

"Why did BGPC give 'strong support' to Isles Quarry housing"?

"Why did BGPC want the Greenbelt  removed at the Cemex Landfill?"

"Why did BGPC try and oppose the Celcon Factory and the Bypass?"

"Why did BGPC try and move the Parish Boundary up to the M26?"

------------------------------------------

The Planning Inspector has approved TMBC's Core Strategy, which means that she approves the idea of removal of the Greenbelt boundary, and the building of 200+ houses. We can have no further effect on that concept, but we can still challenge every step when a planning application comes forward for the site.

Tonbridge & Malling's Isles Quarry Housing strategy is built on the presumption that the Borough Green Bypass will be built, and we must persuade TMBC that no planning application should be even considered until our Bypass is in place. The Inspector notes that the "Haul Rd" provides the best access to Isles Quarry, but that is only true if it connects to the Bypass.

You can read the relevant section of the Inspector's report, LDF Inspectors Report , but the full report can be read at TMBC : click here
